Capture the right information at source

A useful snag record contains the location, category, description, photographs and context needed to act. Guided questions and floor-plan capture reduce the clarification calls that follow incomplete free-text reports.

Apply governed rules before assignment

Configured workflows apply category, priority, contractor and potential snag or warranty rules before external assignment. Developer teams define those rules and review exceptions, protecting commercial control and reducing incorrect call-outs. The applicable warranty, sales contract and developer aftercare process remain authoritative.

Coordinate access, targets and dependent contractors

Ownership alone is not enough. The workflow needs acceptance, appointment context, response and resolution targets, and sequenced contractors where one task depends on another.

  • Alert when work is not accepted
  • Protect homebuyer and property-access context
  • Release dependent contractors in the correct order

Close with evidence, not a status label

Contractor-specific notes, photographs, time, receipts, developer review and homebuyer confirmation where relevant create an auditable history to support warranty, chargeable-work and cost-recovery decisions.
