Frequently asked questions

Clear answers before a product walkthrough

Practical questions from development, customer care, construction, technology, management and procurement teams.

Does HomeBook replace our CRM?

No. HomeBook can work with existing CRM and operational systems, coordinating the home journey and shared property record between them.

Can we start with one project?

Yes. A focused project can prove the workflow and create a repeatable configuration for wider adoption.

Do contractors need another complex login?

Not necessarily. Contractors can accept, schedule and complete assigned work through email as well as a focused field experience.

Can the homebuyer experience be white labelled?

Yes. The homebuyer and resident experience can be configured around the developer or project brand.

Where does AI make a difference?

AI analyses structured project data to produce summaries and reporting, identify trends, surface anomalies and risks, forecast likely problems, recommend priorities and answer questions. Deterministic workflows handle classification, routing, reminders and approvals.

What implementation information is required?

Discovery maps current processes, roles, systems, data, evidence and decision rights. The resulting scope defines configuration, imports, integrations and adoption.

How long does implementation take?

Timing depends on the selected workflow, project data, connections, participants and acceptance requirements. HomeBook confirms the delivery plan after discovery rather than applying one generic timetable to every implementation.

What can be imported and exported?

Projects, buildings, homes, homebuyers, documents, specifications, assets, warranties and agreed operational records can be onboarded. Reporting can be provided in PDF and spreadsheet formats; field mapping, frequency and ownership are confirmed in scope.

How are teams trained and supported?

Enablement is organised around each participant’s role. The delivery plan covers role-specific onboarding, administrator handover, launch readiness and a post-launch workflow review.

How does HomeBook support property management?

HomeBook transfers authorised building and home information into a structured record, then supports communications, snags, warranty and operational continuity.

How are security and data-residency requirements handled?

HomeBook works with technology and procurement teams to confirm hosting, data residency, retention and contractual requirements for the selected market and implementation.

How does HomeBook support UK snagging and aftercare?

HomeBook connects home demonstrations, snag capture, contractor work, homebuyer updates, completion evidence and post-completion aftercare to the correct plot and property record. Terminology, stages, approval gates and complaints routes are configured for the developer’s operating model.

Can HomeBook support the New Homes Quality Code journey?

HomeBook can configure the operational steps, communications, snag records and evidence needed across reservation, completion and after-sales. The developer remains responsible for confirming the legal and Code requirements that apply to each project.
